I had a fabulous entry and was very well looked after by my steward Sheryl Edwards who was efficient, handled the cats with care and kept me laughing all day! 1 Wards HUGGIBEAR EBONY CHIEFTAN (72) M 19/09/08
I see I judged this baby Bombay boy recently and he is maturing nicely. He has a firm weighty body for his age with a rounded chest and straight back, medium thick tail tapers to a rounded tip and balances. He has a gently rounded top of head but needs more width between his medium sized ears that have rounded tips and a broad base, and are set with a slight forward tilt . He has a short broad wedge that narrows to a blunt muzzle with a level bite. In profile he has a rounded brow and distinct break to his short straight nose. His eyes are of a rich yellow but are slightly round in shape. His coat is on the long side but lays well and a glossy patent black in lovely condition. He has a sprinkling of white hairs over his shoulders and a patch in his groin that lacks black pigment and appears a mid grey colour. A sweet kitten with a lovely temperament.

1 BOB BRADLEYS NEMOREZ SCARLETOHARA (72g) 06/11/08 F
At first glance I didn’t think this dinky blue tortie baby was my winner as she has a very fluffy coat but on handling her and when she relaxed I could see her type was lovely. She is just 16 weeks old and if I wanted to be ultra critical I could say that she needs a little more substance but has a nicely rounded chest and straight back, elegant limbs and neat oval paws. Her tail is a little thin at present but tapers to a paintbrush tip and balances her body. She has gentle rounding to her top of head with well spaced correctly shaped ears that have a broad base and rounded tips and are set with a slight forward tilt their outer line following the outline of her wedge. In profile she has reasonable depth to her head with a distinct break and to her straight nose. Firm level chin, level bite. She has a short broad wedge narrowing to a blunt muzzle. Large lustrous yellow eyes that have good set with the top line slanting towards the nose and a fuller more rounded lower lid, set wide apart giving the correct Asian expression, with that slightly surprised look that some kittens have. Her coat is quite long and fluffy with a kittenish texture (but to be expected at this age) and is a dark blue prettily mingled with cream that is coloured to the roots. A lovely baby girl who was a little over awed by the day but soon relaxed and enjoyed our cuddles. One to watch for the future.
2 Edneys ROCADDANE ASIA (72b) 03/11/08 F
A dear little soul of just 16 weeks looking quite mature for her age. She has a strong sturdy body of good weight for size with rounded chest and straight back. Legs are elegant and slender with neat spoon shaped paws. Her tail is of good length and thickness and tapers to a paintbrush tip. Slightly rounded top of head with good width between very large well set ears of good shape. Short wide wedge looking a little pinched at the moment, possibly due to teething. Her profile shows a slightly heavy brow with an adequate nose break although the nose has a small bump, strong level chin and reasonable depth to head, level bite. I would prefer her eyes to be a bit larger but they are of good shape and set with the top line slanting towards the nose and a more rounded bottom line and a rich yellow in colour. Her coat is short glossy and close lying and warm chestnut brown that shows colour to the roots. A very sweet kitten who was just a little unsure of everything today.

Super brown boy, with probably the best coat I have seen on a Burmese with a lovely firm well muscled body of very good weight and size. He has a straight back and rounded chest, with proportionate limbs and neat oval paws. His tail is of medium thickness and tapers to a rounded tip and balances his body. He has a gently rounded top of head with good width between his ears which are wide at the base with rounded tips and are set with a slight forward tilt their outer edges following the outline of his face. In profile he has good depth to his head, a rounded brow and distinct break to his short straight nose, firm chin that lays back a fraction and a level bite. His wedge is short, broad and narrows to a blunt muzzle. He has large lustrous yellow chartreuse eyes that are correctly shaped with a gentle curve to the topline which slants toward his nose and a fuller more rounded lower lid and are set well apart. He has the most fabulous short close lying coat of a warm seal brown that gleamed with health. A promising boy with a lovely temperament.
With held Wards COOKAMISTA BAZILLE (27) 02/08/08
A nice size to this lad, he has a strong well muscled body with broad rounded chest and straight back, proportionate limbs and large oval paws. His tail is of medium thickness and tapers to a rounded tip and just balances his body. He has a slightly flat top of head with good width between his large well shaped and set ears that have a wide base, rounded tips and are set with a slight forward tilt. I would like to see more depth to his head but he has a rounded brow, distinct break to his nose that just slopes away and he has a firm level chin. His wedge is short, wide and tapers to a blunt muzzle and he has a level bite. Lustrous almost khaki coloured eyes are correctly shaped with the topline slanting towards his nose and a fuller more rounded lower lid but they just need to be larger and he has a distinct squint with the right eye turning in (confirmed by a senior judge) His coat is a little long but lays well, is of a coolish seal brown and felt a little coarse and lacked sheen. A happy boy with a lovely temperament. I am sorry to withhold but his eyes left me no option

Promising brown girl of good type with a strong body that I just felt could be a bit heavier for her size with rounded chest and straight back and elegant slender legs with neat spoon shaped paws. Her tail is of good length and thickness and tapers to a paintbrush tip. She has gently rounded top of head with well set medium sized ears that are of good shape and set on a broad base with rounded tips and have a slight forward tilt. Her wedge is short and broad with a blunt muzzle that is just looking a little pinched at the jaw hinge today and she has a level bite. She has a pleasing profile with distinct nose break, short nose that just rolls of a little, strong firm chin. Her eyes are large, lustrous and yellow chartreuse and are of the desired shape and set with the topline slanting towards her nose and a fuller more rounded lower lid, they are set well apart giving her that special Burmese look. Her coat satiny in texture and is a lovely warm seal brown but is just a little long and lays well. A sweet confident kitten who enjoyed a cuddle!

Dear little baby girl just old enough to be shown. She is of reasonable weight for her size, with a well balanced body with rounded chest and straight back. Her legs are slender with neat oval paws and her tail is a good shape and tapers to a rounded tip and balances. She has a gently rounded top of head with good width between her medium well set ears that have a broad base with rounded tips and set with a slight forward tilt. Her eyes are large lustrous and a muddy yellow of the correct shape and set with the topline slanting towards her nose and a fuller more rounded lower lid.. She has a short wide wedge that narrows to a blunt muzzle with a level bite. Her profile shows a gently rounded brow with good depth to head, a distinct nose break, strong chin and level bite. Her cost is a pale warm seal brown and still kittenish in texture. An absolute little poppet who just couldn’t stop purring.

Nice sized kitten, of good weight and overall type. She has a strong body with a straight back and rounded chest, sturdy legs and neat oval paws. Tail balances her body and is of the desired thickness and tapers to a paintbrush tip. She has a gently rounded top of head with very good width between her ears that are of good shape with broad base, slightly rounded tips and set with a slight forward tilt. Very short wide wedge with a blunt muzzle and level bite. She has a balanced profile with distinct nose break, short straight nose, strong level chin and bite. Her large lustrous yellow chartreuse eyes have the topline slanting towards her nose and a more rounded lower lid but appeared a little prominent and watery when we had her first thing but I noticed they improved as the day wore on. Beautiful short close fitting coat is a warm seal brown and shows a healthy gloss. An aptly named baby, with a sweet temperament.

Well grown kitten of very good weight and feeling firm and muscular. She has a rounded chest and straight back with proportionate limbs and neat oval paws. Her tail is a little thin, narrows to a paintbrush tip and balances. She has a slightly flat top of head with good width between her well shaped and set ears that have a broad base and rounded tips and are set with a slight forward tilt. Her wedge is a little long but has a blunt muzzle but shows a teething pinch at the jaw hinge today. In profile she has a gently rounded brow with acceptable break to her slightly long nose that has a small bump. She has large lustrous pale yellow eyes of good shape and set, showing the top line slanting towards her nose and a fuller more rounded lower lid they are set well apart giving typical expression. Beautiful texture to her warm seal brown coat that is short glossy and close lying. Shown if very good condition with a lovely temperament. There must be a story around her name!!
5 Wards ADATEBU LADY CASSANDRA (27) 10/07/08 F
Very good weight to this brown kitten, she has a medium body with a straight back and rounded chest with elegant slender legs and neat spoon shaped paws. Her tail is of medium thickness that tapers to a rounded tip and balances. She has a gently rounded top dome but needs a little more width between her large ears that are set on a broad base with rounded tips and gentle forward slant but she tends to hold them upright. She has a longish somewhat narrow wedge that is looking pinched at the jaw hinge (maybe due to teething?) Her eyes are of a good colour but appear more rounded than desirable and need to be larger. Her coat is a pale cool brown in tone and felt harsh to the touch and lacked gloss. She did however have a lovely temperament and enjoyed a cuddle.

Almost adult and looking mature and relaxed. His well muscled heavy body has a straight back with rounded chest, proportionate limbs and neat oval paws. His tail is of medium thickness and is well shaped, tapering to a paintbrush tip and balances. He has a gently rounded top of his head with good width between his ears that are of the correct shape and are set on a broad base with rounded tips and with a slight forward tilt. His short broad wedge narrows to a blunt muzzle and he has a level bite. His profile shows a distinct nose break with a straight slightly long nose, good depth to head with a strong level chin. His large lustrous yellow eyes have the topline slanting towards his nose and a more fuller rounded lower lid and are set wide apart to give him the correct Burmese expression. He has a short glossy coat of a warm cream showing a distinct bloom on his ears, head and back but that looked a little open in the very cold hall. A friendly chap with a super temperament.

Very nice tawney classic tabby Ocicat, he has a long well muscled body with a deep broad chest and straight back, strong sturdy legs with compact oval paws and long proportionate tail. He has a longish modified wedge with wide top and large ears set well apart, square muzzle with a strong chin and level bite. His profile shows a gentle rise from nose to brow and a slight dip. His medium to large ears are well set with gently rounded tips and tufts. He has large almond shaped that are an attractive hazel in colour. Most beautiful short, satiny close lying coat that has a healthy sheen and showing clear black tabby markings on a tawny ground. He has an M on his forehead, pencilling on his cheeks and a pleasing mascara effect around his eyes. There are unbroken lines down her spine to her tail with a butterfly effect on his back and oysters on his flanks. He has a ringed with a solid tip, bars on all four limbs and a spotty tummy. A lovely lad shown in tip top condition.

Red silver shaded Burmilla with Burmese Colour Restriction. Very good size to this lad, he has a rounded chest and a straight back with elegant proportionate legs and with neat oval paws. His well shaped medium to thick tail tapers to a rounded tip and balances his body. He has a pleasing head with a nicely rounded top and good width between his medium sized ears that are set on a broad base with rounded tips and a slight forward tilt, their outer line following his upper wedge. He has a short broad wedge that narrows to a blunt muzzle and he has a level bite. In profile he has good depth to his head a rounded brow and a distinct break to his nose which has a tiny bump, his chin is firm but lays back. His eyes are large and lustrous and a rich amber colour but are set on a straight plane with the topline lacking the slant towards his nose with a full rounded lower lid and set well apart. His coat is short and close lying and shows warm red mantle over a sparkling silver ground. He is lightly shaded with the colour descending from his spine line. He has an M to his forehead, pale spectacles with dark mascara around his eyes, faint thumb prints to his ears and a faint broken necklace, some colour on his heels. A very sweet boy enjoying his day out.

Very pretty girl with that exclusive Devon pixie look. Lithe well muscled body, proportionate limbs and neat oval paws. Her head formed a short wide wedge with characteristic high cheek bones, strong chin, level bite and a distinct stop. She has large low set ears set wide apart tapering to rounded tips. In profile she has a flattish top to head with a curved brow, moderate stop and short nose. Large oval eyes are set wide apart giving her that lovely expression. Long tapering tail balances. She has a short dense coat that is soft in texture and well waved. A delightful girl with a lovely temperament

This brown spotted Bengal has a medium body with strong proportionate legs and large rounded paws. Good length to his tail which is thick and even carried low and with a rounded tip. His head forms a medium wedge that just appears a little short but has rounded contours, high cheek bones. His profile shows a more defined break than is ideal, but it is large and broad with a broad muzzle and pronounced whisker pads, a firm level chin with a level bite. He has large almost round eyes of a bright green colour and set with a slight slant towards the base of his ears. He has a short and dense coat with large orangey brown spots on a pale beige base that I felt needed a little more contrast. He has good facial markings with a very pale muzzle, ‘M’ on forehead, pencil lines on cheeks, chin straps and vertical streaks over head. Broken lines and spots on legs, rings on tail. Shown in lovely condition with a very nice temperament.

Super blue silver shaded Tiffanie boy with Burmese colour restriction. He has a well filled firm body with a broad rounded chest and straight back, elegant proportionate limbs and neat oval paws. He has a lovely Burmese head with a gently rounded top and good width between his well shaped and set ears that have a broad base with rounded tips and are set with a slight forward tilt. The outer edges of his ears follow the line of his wedge, which is short broad and has a blunt muzzle with good width at the jaw hinge. His profile shows pleasing depth to his head with a gently rounded brow and well defined break to his short straight nose, his chin is of acceptable depth and level. His large lustrous yellow chartreuse eyes are of the desired shape with the topline slanting towards his nose and a fuller more rounded lid and are set well apart giving him a good Asian look. His shading appeared a cool toned bluey fawn colour that was more intense along his spine line. He has an M on his forehead, a faint well broken necklace, and pale spectacles with dark mascara around his eyes, attractive pencilling to his cheeks and narrow leg bars. His coat is fine, silky and medium in length and lies flat to the body and flows down his sides and flanks. His ruff is developing and his tail shows a nice plume and he has ear furnishings. In the hall light his coat did not appear to have the soft silvery grey colouring I would expect of a BCR blue and I did wonder if he could Caramel but was happy to give him the benefit of the doubt as his colour is still developing.

Short, soft textured coat was a little sparse today but showed some rexing in her body. A very sweet kitten who purred her way through our cuddles.

Her legs are elegant and slender with neat spoon shaped paws. Gentle rounding to top of head with excellent width between her well shaped ears, that have gently rounded tops and follow the outline of her face, in profile they have a slight forward tilt She has a short broad wedge with blunt muzzle, distinct break to her short straight nose, nice depth to head, medium level chin and level bite. Large lustrous yellow eyes that were just little prominent are of the correct shape with the top line slanting towards the nose with a more rounded fuller bottom line, set well apart giving the typical Burmese expression. Short glossy coat of a rich dark seal brown. A lovely girl with a fabulous temperament.

Large lustrous yellow eyes are of good shape and set with the top line slanting towards the nose and a more fuller rounded bottom and set well apart giving that give that typical Burmese look. She has elegant slender limbs and neat spoon shaped paws. Her tail of the correct length and thickness is well shaped narrowing to a rounded tip. Slightly flat top of head with good width between her well shaped ears. They are set with a slight forward tilt and follow the outline of her face. She has a short broad wedge narrowing to a blunt muzzle, level bite. She has reasonable depth to head with a rounded brow and well defined nosebreak and deep firm chin. Large lustrous yellow chartreuse eyes are well set with the topline slanting towards her nose and a fuller more rounded lower lid and are set well apart giving the typical Burmese expression. Beautiful seal brown coat is short glossy and close lying. A feisty girl, muttering very bad words was she was easy handle!

Large lustrous yellow eyes are the correct shape with the top line slanting towards her nose with a fuller more rounded lower line; they are set well apart to give the desired Burmese expression. In profile she has good depth to her head with a rounded brow and distinct nose break, straight nose, firm level chin that could do with a touch more depth. She has the most beautiful fine glossy coat that is a little long but close lying and a pale dove grey with a pinky cast. A lovely girl whose temper did not match her looks today!

Another lovely young lilac who appealed but I think something must have upset this row of cats as like the two above was she was very cross. She has a gently rounded top of head with good depth and good width between her medium well shaped ears that are set on a broad base with rounded tips and a slight forward tilt. Her eyes are yellow chartreuse in colour and are large and lustrous, being of the correct shape and set with a gentle curve to the topline which slants towards her nose and a fuller more rounded lower lid. Her profile shows a rounded brow and distinct break to her short straight nose and a firm level chin. Her coat is a warm dove grey with pinkish overtones and is short glossy and close lying. Shown in lovely condition.

His tail is a fraction thick but narrows to a rounded tip and balances. He has a gently rounded top of head with very good width between his ears that are of the desired shape and set, with the base wide, rounded tips and set with a slight forward tilt their outer edges following the line of his wedge. He has a short broad jowly wedge with a blunt muzzle, and level bite. In profile he has a good depth to his head with a rounded brow and distinct nose break, the tip of his nose is a straight line to his chin, which could deeper for perfection. He has lustrous yellow chartreuse eyes that are correctly shaped with the top line slanting towards his nose and a fuller more rounded lower lid I feel for perfection they could be a fraction larger. Beautiful soft dove grey coat was just looking a little blue today and is short glossy and close lying. A handsome young gentleman shown in excellent condition and that was a pleasure to judge.

I had to double check this lovely brown tortie’s age as I couldn’t believe she was ten and a half as she is fabulous condition. She has weighty muscular body of pleasing proportions with rounded chest and straight back. Elegant proportionate limbs with neat oval paws. Her tail is of the desired thickness and tapers to a rounded tip and just balances her body. She has slight flattening to the top pf her head with very good width between her well shaped ears that are broad at the base with rounded tips and are set with a slight forward tilt, their outer line following the outline of her face. She has a short broad wedge with a blunt muzzle and level bite. Large lustrous greeny yellow eyes are of the desired shape with the top line slanting towards her nose and full rounded bottom lid, they are set well apart giving her the typical Burmese expression. In profile she has excellent depth to her head with a rounded brow, distinct nose break but nose just slopes off a little and deep level chin. In superb condition her short close lying coat gleaming with health, the red and brown well mingled. A lovely girl with a fabulous temperament.

Almost an adult and looking mature for her age, she has good weight and feels firm and muscular with a rounded chest and straight back, elegant limbs and neat spoon shaped paws. Her tail is of medium thickness and tapers to a rounded tip and balances. She has gentle rounding to her top of head with very good width between her small ears that are broad at the base with rounded tips, their outer edge following the outline of her wedge and set with a slight forward tilt but that she was tending to hold a little upright today. She has a short broad wedge that narrows to a blunt muzzle with a level bite. She has good depth to her head, rounded brow and distinct nosebreak that just rolls off at the tip and firm level chin. Large lustrous yellow chartreuse coloured eyes have the top line slanting towards her nose and a fuller more rounded lower line, set wide apart with a nice Burmese expression. Most beautiful pale milk chocolate coat is short and close lying with a super satiny texture. A very promising kitten shown in wonderful condition with a delightful temperament.

I really needed two red cards for this class. Super brown girl with a well muscled body of good weight for her size, she has a rounded chest and straight back. Slender elegant legs and neat spoon shaped paws, her tail is a little thinner than ideal but of good shape with a paintbrush tip and balances. Beautifully proportioned head with gently rounded top and excellent width between her medium sized ears that are wide at the base, gently rounded tips and set with a slight forward tilt, their outer line following the outline of her face. She has a short wide wedge narrowing to a blunt muzzle, with a level bite. In profile she has very good depth to her head, rounded brow, distinct nosebreak with a short straight nose. Her chin is of acceptable depth but it just lays back a little. For perfection I would like her eyes a bit larger but they are of the desired shape with the topline slanting towards her nose and a fuller more rounded bottom lid and set well apart giving her the typical Burmese expression. She has beautiful short satiny coat of a warm seal brown. A lovely girl with some very bad language who was not at all happy with us today.

Large lustrous pale yellow chartreuse eyes have the desired shape and set with the top lid slanting towards her nose with a fuller more rounded lower line and set well apart giving the correct Burmese expression. Her profile shows a rounded brow, distinct break to her short straight nose and level strong chin. Her coat is short and close fitting with a healthy satiny sheen and of a very pretty mingling of warm chocolate and red. A lovely girl with a sweet disposition.

His tail is well shaped and tapers to a rounded somewhat bony tip and balances his body. He had a longish wedge that narrows to a blunt muzzle with a level bite. Slight rounding to the top of head and with good width between his largish ears, which are broad at the base and have rounded tips and are set with a slight forward tilt. Acceptable size to his greeny yellow eyes that have nice shape with the top line slanting towards his nose and a fuller rounded lower lid and are set wide apart giving a typical Burmese expression. In profile he has reasonable depth to his head, a rounded brow, distinct nose break and a shallow level chin. His coat was short glossy and close lying and of a soft mid blue with silvering in his rounded areas. Shown in beautiful condition with a lovely temperament.

A mature blue boy with big weighty firm body, straight back and rounded chest. He has a sturdy legs and neat oval paws with a well shaped but rather thick tail that is just a little short to balance. Slightly flat top of head with good width between his neat well shaped ears of good shape with a broad base and rounded tips. They are set with a slight forward tilt, their outer edge following his wedge. Short broad wedge that narrows to a blunt muzzle with a level bite. His profile shows reasonable depth to his head with a gently rounded with a good break to his short nose that rolls off and I would prefer a stronger chin. Medium lustrous pale green chartreuse eyes have the topline sloping towards the nose and the bottom line needs more rounding, set well part giving him a nice Burmese look. His short close lying coat felt a little coarse along the spine line as was a darker blue with a slight brown hue. A perfect gentleman with lovely manners.

Very pretty Devon Rex girl with a lithe well muscled body, proportionate limbs and neat oval paws. Long tapering tail balances. Her head shows a nice short broad wedge with high cheek bones, large ears that are set low and just need a bit more width between them. Strong muzzle with well defined whisker break. Deep level chin and level bite, in profile she has a flattish top to head with a curved brow, moderate stop and a small bump on her short nose. Large oval pale blue eyes are set wide apart giving her a lovely expression. Excellent coat quality short dense and well waved. A really relaxed girl in super condition
