Many thanks to Vic & Joyce and the committee for their kind invitation to judge. I had a super entry and was grateful to Janet Alp for stewarding for me, she handles the cats with care and was very good company - looking forward to the next time!

Nice overall look to this blue silver shaded Tiffanie, he has a medium weighty body with a nicely rounded chest and straight back with elegant limbs and neat oval shaped paws. His tail is of good length and medium thickness and balances his body. He has a balanced head with gentle rounding to top and well spaced medium sized ears that are wide at the base with gently rounded tips and are set with a slight forward tilt. Large lustrous greenish yellow that have good shape and set with the top line slanting towards the nose and a fuller more rounded bottom lid set wide apart. In profile he has a distinct nosebreak, straight slightly long nose and level chin. His wedge is medium, broad and narrows to a blunt muzzle with a level bite. He has large lustrous yellow eyes that are set wide apart with the topline slanting towards his nose and a fuller more rounded lower lid. His coat shows a mantle of a soft silvery grey over a pale silvery ground, with darker colouration up his heels. He has an M on his forehead, pale spectacles and darker mascara around his eyes. His coat is soft, silky short to medium length and lays flat to his body and appears to be developing well, there is evidence of a ruff, breeches and a plume. Shown in lovely condition with a sweet temperament.

Attractive lilac silver Tiffanie girl and sister to Luciano, she has an elegant medium length body with a rounded chest and straight back, with slender limbs and neat oval paws. Her tail is of the desired length and thickness and balances her body. Her head shows a gently rounded dome and adequate width between her smallish ears that are wide at the base with rounded tips, their outer edge following the line of her wedge. Her profile shows a distinct break to her short straight nose and level chin. She has a short broad wedge that narrows to a blunt muzzle, showing good width at the cheeks and her bite is level. Her eyes are large and lustrous and a pale yellow in colour that were looking a little round today. Like her brother her coat is still immature still, but is developing well and is of short to medium length, silky and lays flat on her body. She has a beautiful plume to her tail, ear tufts and streamers and the first signs of breeches but needs better development of a ruff. I was unsure whether she was actually a silver shaded lilac as there was little evidence of silver and her colour appeared a little too dark for a lilac but due to her tender age and the poor lighting in the hall I gave her the benefit of doubt. She has an even mantle of a dark mushroom tone over a ivory white ground. She has an M on her forehead, pencilling on her cheeks and a pleasing mascara effect around her eyes. Half bars on her forelegs with darker colouring down the spine line, on her heels and with a solid tip to her tail. A very sweet girl who was really enjoying her day out.

Red silver shaded Tiffanie with burmese colour restriction. Very good weight and muscle tone, he has an elegant body with a straight back and rounded chest, slender legs and oval paws. His tail is of the correct shape and thickness and tapers to a rounded tip and just balances his body. Super Burmese head, with a gently rounded top, with good width between his medium ears that are set on a broad base with rounded tops and a slight forward tilt. His profile shows a rounded brow and distinct break to his short straight nose and he has a deep chin that recedes a fraction. He has a short broad wedge that narrows to a blunt muzzle, showing good width at the jaw hinge and his bite is level. Super large expressive yellow eyes are set well apart with the top lid slanting towards his nose and a fuller rounder lower lid. His coat is still slightly kittenish and needs to develop but is of medium length and lies flat and close to his body. Super ear tufts and his plume and ruff are developing nicely. At first glance he appears almost pure silver but he has very subtle pale tangerine shading along his spine line and developing down his sides with colour on his hocks and face. A super boy who was beautifully presented with a lovely temperament who purred the whole time he was out of his pen. I was pleased to see he went on to win BOV Foreign kitten and Overall BOV Foreign. Well done!

1 Thomas DAYJOY DARLING DAYZEE (68 43bq) F 08/12/09
This chocolate shaded Tiffanie was at her first show today, a dinky baby with a confident outgoing nature. She has reasonable weight for her size with a rounded chest and straight back. Her legs are proportionate with neat oval paws and her tail balances. She has a gently rounded dome with good width between her small well shaped ears which are wide at the base with slightly rounded tips and set with a slight forwards tilt. She has good depth to her head and a gently rounded brow and a distinct break to her short straight nose, shallow level chin. She has a short very broad wedge that narrows to a blunt muzzle with a level bite. Her eyes are large lustrous and yellow chartreuse in colour, their topline slants towards her nose with a fuller more rounded lower lid. Her coat is of short medium length, soft and kittenish in texture and developing nicely. She has an M on her forehead with a complex scarab, pale spectacles and dark mascara. Her shading is very subtle and she has leg bars and a solid tip to her tail and heels. A very sweet kitten with a lovely temperament who needs to grow on. I look forward to seeing how she develops

Sleepy 5 month old cream baby. She has an elegant body feeling firm and muscular with rounded chest and straight back. She has proportionate elegant legs with neat oval shaped paws. Her tail is of good length and thickness and tapers to a paintbrush tip and balances. She has a gently rounded dome with well set largish ears, that are broad at the base with rounded tips and set with a slight forward tilt, their outer edge following the line of her wedge. Her profile shows a distinct nosebreak but her nose has a tiny bump, she has a firm level chin, with good depth to head, level bite. Short wide wedge with blunt muzzle just looking a little pinched at the jaw hinge today, teething? Large lustrous muddy yellow eyes have the colour still developing and are set with the top line slanting towards the nose but and a more rounded lower lid (when we managed to get her to open them) Her coat is short glossy, close fitting and a clear pale cream. A promising baby with a lovely temperament, she lay in my stewards arms and fell asleep

Chocolate tortie Tonkinese with an elegant medium length lithe body that is firm and muscular with rounded chest and straight back rising to her rump with a medium length tapering tail. Her legs are strong and slender with neat oval feet. She has a gently rounded top of head with good width between medium sized ears, that are slightly pricked forward and follow the outer line of her moderately proportioned wedge. Her profile is excellent with slight nose break and medium depth chin. Large expressive eyes a greenish blue that slant down towards the nose with a rounded lower line. Short close lying coat with a soft silky sheen of a warm chocolate nicely mingled with read. A very relaxed pretty girl .

No doubting the sex of this impressive Bengal lad he has a large body with strong proportionate legs and large rounded paws. Good length to his tail which is thick and even, carried low and with a rounded tip. Typical Bengal head looking slightly small in proportion to his bodywith a broad medium wedge with rounded contours, high cheek bones. He has a good profile showing a gentle curve from forehead to bridge of nose, slight concave curve to nose then straight to tip. He has a large broad nose with a broad muzzle and pronounced whisker pads, a shallow level chin with a level bite. His ears are medium in size, wide at base and rounded at tips. He has large pale green eyes that are almond shaped and slanted towards the base of the ear. His coat is short dense, soft and luxurious. He has pale golden rufus ground colour and two tone black spots. Very good facial markings with a very pale muzzle, ‘M’ on forehead, pencil lines on cheeks, chin straps and vertical streaks over head. Broken lines and spots on legs, rings on tail and spots on tummy. A confident boy with a super temperament who sauntered out of his pen onto the table.

Nice type to this black smoke Cornish Rex who has an an excellent body that is well muscled and slender, with very good weight. She has proportionately long legs and small oval paws with a fine long tapering tail. Her medium wedge shows high cheek bones that narrow to a rounded muzzle. She has large ears that are well set being quite high on her head with a wide base and rounded tips. Her profile shows a flat skull hat curves gently at brow and is virtually straight to tip of her nose with good depth to her chin with a level bite. Medium size to her oval eyes that are set with the top line almost straight with slight slant to the outer edge to ear. She has a soft glossy black coat over a sparkling silver ground that is short and dense with tight waving and super crinkly whiskers and eyebrows. A very sweet girl in super condition.

Lovely Singapura boy with a very good body for shape, size and condition, he has well muscled elegant legs with small oval feet, and a well balanced tail. His head shows a rounded skull with good width at the outer eye and narrowing to a short broad muzzle with definite whisker break. His profile shows a slight stop to his straight nose with a strong well developed chin. His ears are wide at the base, deep cupped and correctly set with good width between and the outer line just wide of parallel. Lovely large luminous green eyes of are of very good shape, held well open and set wide apart and at slight slant, Good depth to head with gently rounded brow, slight stop and short nose with leather falling away slightly at tip and level chin of reasonably good depth. His coat is fine close lying and of medium length and has a smooth silky texture, in superb condition, showing clear ticking of a warm rich sepia brown over a warm ivory ground. He has smudges on his knees and a few narrow inner bars on forelegs, well broken yellow toned necklace, rich warm salmon backs to ears, “M” and scarab on forehead, attractive mascara effect to eyes surrounded by light spectacles, well defined “Cheetah” marks on face. A lovely boy!

Super coat on this Bengal boy, he has a sleek well muscled body with level back and broad gently rounded chest and with strong proportionate limbs with large rounded paws. Very good tail for shape and thickness, it is carried low and has a rounded tip. Attractive Bengal head that is just small in proportion to his body. His medium wedge shows rounded contours and high cheek bones. In profile he shows a gentle curve from forehead to bridge of nose, slight concave curve towards the nose leather. He has a large broad nose with a broad muzzle and pronounced whisker pads. His chin is firm, level with a level bite. Medium sized ears are wide at base and rounded at tips. He has large clear hazel green eyes that are almond shaped and slanted towards the base of the ear giving the desired wild expression. His coat is short and dense with a silky texture and shows swirls and streaks on a rich bright golden toned ground with distinct glittering visible on back and sides. He has an M on his forehead, mascara effect to eyes surrounded by lighter spectacles, defined pencilling on his cheeks and a chin strap, a double necklace, broken bracelets and spots on legs, rings on histail. Shown in lovely condition with a sweet temperament.
3 Wicks CHANTINA AMISI OF MEMPHIS (78 30) 21/04/08 F
Elegant Bronze Egyptian Mau, she has a well balanced medium body that feels firm and muscular with elegant legs and dainty paws. Her head has a gently rounded moderate wedge, in profile there is a slight rise from forehead with a gentle dip, firm chin and level bite. She has medium sized ears that are broad at the base with moderately pointed tips and follow the outer lines of the face. Her eyes are large almond shaped, set straight and are a pleasing gooseberry green colour with a typical Mau worried expression. Lovely colour and pattern to her dense close lying coat that is a warm coppery brown with clear dark brown markings. She has random spots on her body, with barring on all her limbs and rings to her tail. She has an M on her forehead with a complex scarab and lines which extend down between her ears and down her neck with elongated spots along the spine line. Attractive pencilling running from her eyes towards the base of her ears. A sweet shy girl.

1 Anderson-Keebles ACCIO SEVERUS SMOKE (78 36) 24/08/09 MN
I last just judged this smoke Mau when he was just 16 weeks old and he is maturing into a very handsome boy! His body is firm and muscular and medium long and elegant with proportionate limbs and small round dainty paws. He has a medium length head with a slightly rounded wedge that flows into a rounded muzzle. He has large slightly pointed ears that are set on a wide base well back on his head but held slightly forward and alert, following the planes of his head. His eyes are large and almond shaped set straight in with a slight upward curve on the lower lid and are greeny yellow with a green inner rim where the colour is developing and showing the typical worried look. His coat is fine and silky with a jet black mantle over a pale silvery ground, with clear markings developing. He has a randomly spotted body, with leg bars and a solid tip to his tail. His head shows a characteristic M, mascara and bars on his cheeks. A sparkling little character who was interested in everything that was going on! I shall watch his progress with interest.

Confident black spotted Bengal, he has a medium body with strong proportionate legs and large rounded paws. Good length to his tail which is thick even and carried low and with a rounded tip. Typical Bengal head with a broad medium wedge with rounded contours and high cheek bones. He has an acceptable profile showing a gentle curve from forehead to bridge of nose, with a slight concave curve from to nose to tip. His muzzle is broad with a large broad nose and pronounced whisker pads, a firm level chin with a level bite. His ears are medium in size, wide at base and rounded at tips and are set with a slight forward tilt. He has almond shaped eyes that are slanted towards the base of his ears. Beautiful short dense coat that is soft and luxurious. The ground colour is a golden rufus with black markings. Attractive facial markings with a very pale muzzle, ‘M’ on forehead, pencil lines on cheeks, chin strap and vertical streaks over head. Broken lines and spots on legs, rings on tail and spots on tummy. Shown in lovely condition with a gentle temperament.
3 Maples KARAKUL BEAU REGARD (33a18) 13/08/09 M
Very good weight to this silver tabby Devon Rex kitten, he has a lithe well muscled body, with slender proportionate limbs and neat oval paws and a long tapering tail that balances. His head still needs to develop width so looks rather narrow at this stage but he has high cheek bones, strong chin, level bite. He has large low set ears that are wide apart tapering to rounded tips well covered with short fur. In profile he has a flattish top to head with a curved brow, moderate stop and short nose. His large oval eyes are set wide apart sloping towards the outer edge of his ears. He is well covered with a short dense coat that is soft in texture and but lacks curl. A sweet boy with a gentle disposition.

Striking black tortie girl of very good overall type. Well muscled body feeling firm and muscular with rounded chest, straight back, elegant limbs and neat oval paws. Her tail is of good length and thickness tapering to a rounded tip which balances to her shoulder. Gently rounded top of head with very good width between well shaped ears with rounded tips and a broad base where the outer line follows the shape of the face. Her profile shows a rounded brow, distinct nosebreak, straight nose and shallow level chin with a level bite. Large lustrous deep gold eyes are of good shape and set with black eyeliner and the top line slanting towards the nose and a fuller more rounded bottom lid set wide apart giving the typical Asian expression. She has a most beautiful coat, showing clear mingling of jet black and a red, that is almost sound to the roots and gleamed with health. A very nice girl who hissed and grumbled was easy to handle.

Chocolate silver shaded boy with Burmese Colour Restriction who was not looking too happy today. He is of good size and weight, with an elegant well muscled body with rounded chest and straight back. His legs are proportionate with neat oval paws. Good length and thickness to his tail that tapers to a rounded tip and balances. He has a slightly flat top of head with well spaced correctly shaped ears of good shape that are set on a broad base with rounded tips and slight forward tilt. In profile he has good depth to his head with an acceptable nose break, straight nose, slightly shallow firm chin, level bite. He has a short broad wedge that narrows to a blunt muzzle. His large lustrous yellow chartreuse have good set with the top line slanting towards the nose and a fuller more rounded lower lid, set wide apart giving the correct Burmese/Asian expression. His coat is short, glossy and close lying and shows a rich warm chestnut brown shading down the hair shaft to a silvery ground. He has an M on his forehead, pale spectacles and mascara round his eyes, attractive pencilling in his cheeks, a broken necklace, half bars on his front legs and smudges on his knees. He hissed and told us he wasn’t happy today but none the less handled well.

This Bombay lad has a well balanced body that is heavy and muscular with a straight back and rounded chest, elegant limbs and neat paws. His tail is well shaped of the correct thickness, tapers to a rounded tip and balances. He has a slightly flat top of head with acceptable width between his medium well shaped ears that have a broad base with rounded tips and are set with a slight forward tilt. In profile he has a rounded brow with a gentle break to his short straight nose, his chin could be deeper and he has a level bite. His wedge is short and wide and narrows to a blunt muzzle. He has large lustrous deep yellow eyes that are correctly set with the topline slanting towards his nose and a fuller more rounded lower lid, they are set well apart giving the typical expression. Beautiful glossy black coat that is coloured to the roots and short and close lying. Presented in excellent condition with a sweet temperament.

Mature boy of very good size and weight, he has a slender well filled body with a rounded chest and slender elegant legs and neat round feet, moderate thickness to his tail which tapers slightly to a rounded tip. He has a beautifully balanced head with a medium wedge and rounded muzzle, showing uniform width to his nose. His profile shows a very gentle curve to brow, slight dip in profile line to nose, chin is level and of fairly good depth. His ears are medium in size, broad at the base and slightly flared and set well apart. His brow is level over his straight set large lustrous almond shaped eyes that are gooseberry green giving him the typical worried expression. He has a fine dense medium length coat that is smooth and close lying. He has well spaced dark charcoal grey spots evenly distributed and in clear contrast to the pale silver ground. He has two broken necklaces an M on his forehead with a complex scarab, pale spectacles with mascara effect to his eyes and attractive pencilling on his cheeks. His has bars and spots on all four legs and rings on his tail. A super boy in lovely condition with a gentle temperament.

Litter sister to my winner and essentially a feminine version of him, she has an elegant strong muscular body with proportionate elegant limbs and small rounded paws, medium thick tail that tapers to a rounded tip. Her head has a gently rounded moderate wedge, with uniform width to her nose. In profile there is a slight rise from forehead with a gentle dip, firm chin and level bite. Medium sized ears of good shape and are well set with good width between them. Her eyes are clear green, large and of correct almond shape and set at an straight under her level brow and she has that typical ‘worried look’ Beautiful texture to soft dense silver coat with clear charcoal markings and a sparkling silver tummy. She has an M on her forehead with a complex scarab and lines which extending between her ears and down her neck with elongated spots along the spine line. Attractive pencilling running from her eyes towards the base of her ears. She has distinct charcoal spots on her body and tummy, with heavy barring to her legs and rings on her tail. A very sweet gentle lady, very close up to my winner but I just preferred his expression today.
3 Crouchs Gr Pr CWMDARRAN AZRAFF (78 36) 29/06/08 MN
Attractive smoke of good weight and size, with a well filled muscular body and elegant legs and small neat rounded paws, his tail is of medium thickness at the base and tapers to a rounded tip. His head is nicely balanced with a medium wedge and rounded muzzle, showing uniform width to his nose. In profile he has a gentle curve to brow, slight dip in profile line to nose, level chin that is of fairly good depth. He has medium in sized ears that are broad at the base and slightly flared and set well apart. His eyes are straight set under a level brow and are almond shaped, large lustrous and gooseberry green giving him the typical worried expression. His coat is fine and silky with a jet black mantle over a pale silvery ground but showing a somewhat indistinct pattern. A gentle lad with a lovely temperament and shown in tip top condition.

Very nice brown Burmese with a well muscled body of good weight for her size, she has a rounded chest and straight back. Slender elegant legs and neat spoon shaped paws, her tail is of the correct shape but just a little thin and narrows to a paintbrush tip and balances. Nicely proportioned head with gently rounded top and good width between her medium sized ears that are broad at the base and gently rounded tips and set with a slight forward tilt, their outer line following the outline of her face. She has a short wide wedge narrowing to a blunt muzzle, with a level bite. In profile I would like more depth to her head, but she has a rounded brow, distinct nose break with a short nose that has a tiny bump. Her chin is of acceptable depth but it just lays back. She has large lustrous yellow chartreuse eyes with of the desired shape with the top line slanting towards her nose and a fuller more rounded bottom lid, with a wonderful glowering Burmese expression. Her coat is short and close fitting and of a warm seal brown with a lovely sheen. A lovely girl with a super temperament

Mature lilac with a weighty body with rounded chest and straight back. She has elegant limbs and neat oval paws. Well shaped tail that balances and tapers to a paintbrush tip. Beautifully balanced Burmese head with slightly rounded top and good width between her ears which are set with a slight forward slant are wide at the base with rounded tips. Short broad wedge with blunt muzzle and level bite. Large lustrous yellow chartreuse eyes set wide apart with the top line slanting towards her nose and a fuller more rounded lower lid giving a typical Burmese expression. In profile she has good depth to her head, a rounded brow and distinct break to her short straight nose and a firm medium chin. Her coat is short glossy and close lying and is of a pale dove grey with pinky overtones. A bit hissy today but handled well and shown in lovely condition

Well muscled body of good weight for her size, she has a rounded chest and straight back. Slender elegant legs and neat spoon shaped paws, her tail is of good shape with a paintbrush tip. Nicely proportioned head with gently rounded top and acceptable width between her medium sized ears that are broad at the base and gently rounded tips and set with a slight forward tilt, their outer line following the outline of her face. She has a short wide wedge narrowing to a blunt muzzle. In profile she shows good depth to her head, with a rounded brow, distinct nosebreak with a short nose that just slopes of at the tip. Her chin is of good depth but it just lays back, she has a level bite but her incisors are a little concave untidy at present. Large lustrous yellow chartreuse eyes are of the desired shape with the topline slanting towards her nose and a fuller more rounded bottom lid. Beautiful short close fitting coat is glossy and a warm pale chocolate.

A good sized girl for five months with a strong muscular body with rounded chest and straight back, strong elegant limbs and neat spoon shaped paws. Her tail is well shaped with a rounded tip and just balances to the shoulder. She has a slightly flat top of head that would benefit from a little more depth, but she has good width between her medium sized ears of the desired shape and set with a slight forward tilt. In profile she has a rounded brow and acceptable break but her nose just rolls off at the tip, shallow chin that lays back slightly. She has a short broad wedge showing a slight teething pinch today. Her lustrous yellow eyes were looking a little round today and could be larger. Her coat is medium length but is glossy and close lying a cool toned seal brown. A sweet girl with a lovely temperament.

Attractive red baby with a well muscled body of good weight for her size, she has a rounded chest and straight back, slender elegant legs and neat spoon shaped paws, her tail is of medium thickness and of good shape with a paintbrush tip and balances. Her top of head is slightly flat and she excellent width between her medium sized ears that are wide at the base, gently rounded tips and set with a slight forward tilt, their outer line following the outline of her face. She has a short wide wedge narrowing to a blunt muzzle, with a level bite. In profile she has reasonable depth to her head, slightly heavy brow, distinct nosebreak with a short nose with a tiny bump. Her chin is of acceptable depth and level. Her large lustrous yellow eyes are correctly set and of the desired shape with the topline slanting towards her nose and a fuller more rounded bottom lid and are set well apart. Her coat is short and close lying a pale clear tangerine. A sweet baby with a lovely temperament.

At nearly twelve this classy girl retains her super type with a lovely Burmese head but rather a large waistline. She has a rounded chest and straight back, dainty legs and spoon shaped paws. Her tail is of correct shape and thickness narrowing to a paintbrush tip but is short to balance. Looking immature for her four years this brown girl has a well muscled body of good weight for her size, she has a rounded chest and straight back. Slender elegant legs and neat spoon shaped paws, her tail is of the correct shape and thickness and narrows to a paintbrush tip and balances. Her head has a gently rounded top and acceptable width between her medium sized ears that are broad at the base and gently rounded tips and set with a slight forward tilt, their outer line following the outline of her face. She has a short wide wedge narrowing to a blunt muzzle, with a level bite. In profile I would like more depth to her head, but she has a rounded brow, acceptable break to her short nose. Her chin is of acceptable depth but it just lays back. She has large lustrous yellow chartreuse eyes with of the desired shape with the top line slanting towards her nose and a fuller more rounded bottom lid, with a wonderful glowering Burmese expression. Her coat is short and close fitting and of a warm seal brown with a lovely sheen. Lovely temperament

His tail is of good length and shape, balances to his shoulder and has a paintbrush tip. His profile shows good depth to his head with a slightly rounded brow and distinct nose break that just slopes away slightly. His chin is level and of a good depth. Large lustrous rich yellow chartreuse eyes have the desired shape giving the typical Burmese expression. His coat is a rich seal brown, sleek and close lying. A happy lad in lovely condition.

Short broad wedge with a blunt muzzle and level bite. In profile she has a good deep head with rounded brow, distinct nosebreak with a straight nose and strong level chin. Beautiful close lying coat with lovely mingling of cream and lilac. Shown in lovely condition and with a super nature.

Good length to tail which is well shaped with good length and a rounded tip. She has a slightly rounded top of head with good width between her well set and shaped ears. Her profile shows a distinct nose break with level but slightly shallow chin. She has a short broad wedge with blunt muzzle, her bite is untidy and her teeth that appear slightly convex. Beautiful chocolate tortie coat is short and close lying. A sweet girl who purred and chirruped the whole time.
