Thank you so much to Pat and her team for their kind invitation to judge and their hospitality at this well run show. Thanks also to Lee Orton, who came specially to steward for me, he handled the cats with care and was an excellent companion, thank you Lee hope we can work together again soon. I had a really super entry and just not enough red cards.

Looking the best I have ever seen him this strong handsome lad has an elegant body but is of excellent weight, feeling firm and muscular with rounded chest and straight back. He has strong elegant legs with neat spoon shaped paws. Hi tail is of good shape but is a little short to balance. He has gentle rounding to top of head with excellent width between well set medium sized ears. They are broad at the base with rounded tips and set with a slight forward tilt, their outer line following the line of his wedge. His profile shows a rounded brow, distinct nose break, short straight nose, strong level chin and good depth to head. He has a short wide wedge that narrows to a blunt muzzle and a level bite. Lustrous golden yellow eyes have good set with the top line slanting towards the nose and a gently rounded bottom and set wide apart to give the typical Burmese expression. Warm milk chocolate coat is sleek and close lying and in lovely condition. A super boy who shown in tip top condition and who is a real gentleman and a pleasure to judge.

No doubting that the sex of this boy! He has a heavy body that is firm and muscular with a rounded chest and straight back, strong elegant legs with neat oval paws. His tail is a fraction short to balance but is a good shape and tapers to a paintbrush tip. He is just showing a slight flattening to his top of head with very good width between his well set medium sized ears, that have a broad base and rounded tips and set with a slight forward tilt. His eyes are large lustrous and a pale yellow that have good set with the top line slanting towards the nose and a gently rounded bottom giving a typical Burmese look . He has a pleasing profile with good depth to his head, a distinct break to his slightly long nose, and medium firm chin just recedes a little. His wedge is short wide with a blunt muzzle and level bite. His coat is a glossy rich seal brown that is short and close lying. A gentle chap who is always a joy to judge.

This lady is a lovely example of the breed and well worthy of her title. She is of excellent weight with rounded chest and straight back and elegant slender legs with neat spoon shaped paws. Her tail is of medium thickness and tapers to a paintbrush tip and is just a little short to balance. She has a gently rounded dome with good width between her medium sized ears, that are of the required shape with slightly rounded tip and set with a slight forward tilt, their outer edge following the line of her wedge. In profile she has a distinct nose break, straight nose, strong chin and good depth to head. Her short wide wedge narrows to a blunt muzzle with good width at the jaw hinge and she has a level bite. Large lustrous pale yellow eyes have good set with the top line slanting towards the nose and a gently rounded lower lid and set wide apart giving the correct Burmese expression. Ears She has the most beautiful short silky coat that is close lying and of a warm seal brown in excellent condition. A lady who is a pleasure to judge as she has the ‘Burmese’ look but has the sweetest temperament. Shown in super condition!

Mature classy girl of super type with a lovely Burmese head but showing a little middle aged spread that just detracts from any elegance. She is however of fabulous type with a rounded chest and straight back, dainty legs and spoon shaped paws. Her tail is of correct shape and thickness narrowing to a paintbrush tip but is short to balance. Her head has gently rounded dome with good width between her small ears that have a broad base with rounded tips. They are well set with a slight forward tilt, their outer edges following the lines of her face. Short broad wedge narrows to a blunt muzzle, level bite. Large lustrous pale yellow chartreuse eyes have the desired shape and set with the top lid slanting towards her nose with a fuller more rounded lower line and set well apart giving the correct Burmese expression. Her profile shows very good depth to her head with a rounded brow, distinct break, straight nose and level strong chin. Clear rich tangerine coat of superb texture is close lying and sleek and belies her age. A super girl with a lovely temperament and a great example of a Burmese.

This silver shaded lilac FEX Tiffanie is just an adult but of lovely type – she looks exactly like a longhaired Burmese. Of very good size and weight for her age, she has a strong muscular body that has a straight back and gently rounded chest, her tail balances. Her legs are elegant with neat rounded paws. Gently rounded top of head with plenty of width between medium well set ears that are wide at the base with rounded tips and set with a slight forward tilt, the outer line following the outline of her wedge. In profile she has good depth to her head, a rounded brow and distinct nosebreak, straight nose and firm level chin and level bite. Short broad wedge that tapers to a blunt muzzle with good width at jaw. She has large lustrous yellow eyes of the correct shape with the topline slanting towards her nose and a fuller more rounded lower lid that are set well apart giving typical Asian expression. I was unsure whether she was actually a silver shaded lilac as there was little evidence of silver and her colour appeared a little too dark for a lilac but due to her exceptional type and the poor lighting in the hall I gave her the benefit of doubt. She has an even mantle of a dark mushroom tone over a white ground although there was some evidence of silvering behind her ears and under her tail. She has an M on her forehead, pencilling on her cheeks and a pleasing mascara effect around her eyes. Half bars on her forelegs with darker colouring down the spine line, on her heels and with a solid tip to her tail. Her coat is developing well and is of short to medium length, silky and lays flat on her body and flows down the sides. She has a beautiful plume to her tail, ear tufts and streamers and the first signs of breeches but needs better development of a ruff. A very sweet girl who was really enjoying her day out.

This Bombay girl is maturing well, she has a well balanced body that is heavy and muscular with a straight back and rounded chest. Her limbs are lithe and elegant with neat oval paws. Good shape to her tail that is of correct thickness, tapers to a rounded tip and balances her body. Slightly flat top of head with acceptable width between her medium well shaped ears that have a broad base with rounded tips and are set with a slight forward tilt. She has a rounded brow but she needs more definition to her break but her nose is straight and she has a shallow level chin and level bite. Her short broad wedge narrows to a blunt muzzle with a level bite. Lovely rich yellow colour to her eyes that are set with the topline slanting towards her nose and a fuller more rounded lower lid, they are set well apart giving the typical expression. Beautiful glossy black coat that is coloured to the roots and short and close lying. Presented in excellent condition with an endearing temperament.

I first judged this handsome boy at this first show and was impressed with him then and he is certainly fulfilling his early promise. He has a solid well muscled body that has a broad rounded chest and straight back, his limbs are sturdy with neat spoon shaped paws, good tail for shape and thickness tapers to a paintbrush tip and balances. He has a slightly rounded top to his well proportioned head, with good width between small ears that are wide at the base with gently rounded tips. They are set with a slight forward tilt and follow the outer line of his face. He has a short wide wedge narrowing to a blunt muzzle, his bite is level. In profile he has very good depth to his head, a rounded brow and distinct nosebreak with a tiny bump, firm level chin. Large lustrous sized yellow chartreuse eyes are well set with the top line slanting towards the nose and a fuller more rounded bottom lid and set wide apart giving typical Burmese expression. His coat is short, glossy and close fitting and is a warm tangerine colour and almost clear. A delightful chap enjoying his day out

Another red that I last judged as a kitten. She has a well muscled body of good weight for her size, she has a rounded chest and straight back. Slender elegant legs and neat spoon shaped paws, her tail is of medium thickness and of good shape with a paintbrush tip and balances. Beautifully proportioned head with just some slight flattening to the top with excellent width between her medium sized ears that are wide at the base, gently rounded tips and set with a slight forward tilt, their outer line following the outline of her face. She has a short wide wedge narrowing to a blunt muzzle, with a level bite. In profile she has very good depth to her head, rounded brow, distinct nosebreak with a short straight nose. Her chin is of acceptable depth but it just lays back a fraction. She has large lustrous yellow chartreuse eyes that are correctly set and of the desired shape with the topline slanting towards her nose and a fuller more rounded bottom lid and are set well apart. Unfortunately her coat let her down today (maybe due a recent call?) it lacked that satiny texture and appeared just a little brindled. She is however a super girl.

Very attractive brown tortie girl, who looks a little teenagerish still. Of deceptively good weight for her size, she has a firm body with a straight back and nicely rounded chest, elegant limbs with neat oval paws. Her tail is of the correct shape and thickness and tapers to a paintbrush tip and balances. She has a slightly rounded dome with very good width between her medium sized ears that are well set with a slight forward tilt and correctly follow the upper part of the face. She has a short medium wedge narrowing to a blunt muzzle, with a level bite. In profile she has very good depth to her head, slight flattening to brow, distinct nosebreak with a short straight nose. Her chin is of medium depth and level. She has large lustrous yellow chartreuse eyes that are correctly set and of the desired shape with the topline slanting towards her nose and a fuller more rounded bottom lid and are set well apart. Her coat is fine glossy and just a touch long on the back but lays well and is a nice mingling of seal brown and red. A very pretty girl with a super temperament.
BOB Jarvis Ch KYMIAN QUIZZICAL (27e) 17/06/01 F
Another super brown tortie, a lovely mature girl with excellent body weight and condition. She has medium length well muscled body with a straight back and rounded chest, elegant limbs and neat spoon shaped paws. Her tail is correct for shape and thickness and is a little short to balance. Short broad wedge narrows to a slightly pinched muzzle and she has a level bite. Slightly flat top of head with good width between her medium sized ears that are wide at the base with rounded tips and set with a slight forward tilt and follow the outer line of her wedge. In profile she has good depth to her head, a gently rounded brow and distinct nosebreak with a a hint of a bump, with a shallow level chin. Large lustrous green chartreuse eyes are the correct shape with the topline sloping towards her nose and the lower lid fuller and more rounded, set wide apart. Her beautiful close fitting coat shows a healthy sheen and is an attractive mingling of warm seal brown and red. A very nice girl with a lovely temperament.

Very pretty chocolate tortie looking a little immature for her 19 months but of lovely type, with rounded chest and straight back and of very good weight for size. She has elegant limbs and neat spoon shaped paws. Her tail of medium thickness is well shaped narrowing to a rounded tip and balances. He has a slightly rounded top of head with good width between her well shaped ears that are set with a slight forward tilt and follow the outline of her face. Her wedge is short, broad and narrows to a blunt muzzle, level bite. She has reasonable depth to head with a rounded brow and well defined break to her short straight nose, medium firm level chin. Large lustrous pale yellow eyes are well set with the top line slanting towards her nose and a fuller more rounded lower lid set well apart giving the typical Burmese expression. Beautiful chocolate tortie coat has very pretty mingling of chocolate and red and is short and close lying. A sweet girl with a super temperament who purred her way through our cuddles.
BOB Virtues Gr Ch HOBBERDY HYACINTH BUCKET (27g) 23/06/07 F
My notes say stunning!! Most gorgeous blue tortie with a mature heavy body that has a rounded chest and straight back, elegant slender legs and neat spoon shaped paws. Her tsil is well shaped of the desired thickness with a rounded tip that balances her body. She has a classic Burmese head with a gently rounded top, good width between her well shaped and set ears, that have a slight forward tilt and follow the outline of her wedge. Her eyes are large, lustrous and a pale yellow chartreuse in colour with the top line slanting gently towards her nose and a fuller more rounded lower lid. They are set well apart giving her a super grumpy Burmese look. She has a short broad wedge that narrows to a blunt to blunt muzzle. In profile she has excellent depth to her head, rounded brow with a distinct break to her short nose that just has the suggestion of a bump. Beautiful glossy coat gleams with health and is a pretty mingling of pale blue and cream, it is a fraction long but lays well. A super girl who has a wonderful temperament and was a joy to judge. I understand that she won the Imperial and BIS Burmese today – well done!

Pretty Russian blue girl with a well muscled medium body, long limbs and small oval paws. She has a short broad wedge with prominent whisker pads giving the muzzle broad end. Her ears are large and pointed and set high with the outer edge following the upper line of his face. In profile she has an almost flat skull with a gentle concave curve to the nose with a strong chin and level bite. Her eyes a pale green in colour and of a distinct almond shape and are set wide apart. Beautiful clear mid blue coat that is coloured to the roots and is short, fine with a lovely soft feel to it. Still a youngster and will improve with maturity, shown in super condition.

This black silver Burmilla with Burmese Colour Restriction had a mature heavy body medium lithe body feeling firm and muscular and surprisingly heavy. He has a nicely rounded chest and straight back with elegant limbs and neat oval shaped paws. His tail is of good length and medium thickness and balances his body. He has a balanced head with gentle rounding to top and well spaced medium sized ears that are wide at the base with gently rounded tips and are set with a slight forward tilt. Large lustrous greenish yellow that have good shape and set with the top line slanting towards the nose and a fuller more rounded bottom lid set wide apart. In profile he has a distinct nosebreak, straight nose and level chin. His wedge is short and broad showing pleasing width at the jaw hinge. His coat is a little long but lies well and has a mantle of warm seal brown over a sparkling silver base. He has an M on his forehead, pale spectacles and dark mascara. He has bars on his front legs, colour on his heels and a solid tip to his tail. A promising lad with a sweet temperament.

Looking very much a baby this gorgeous silver Caramel Burmilla with BCR just wouldn’t quite fit in my pocket. He has an elegant body that is firm and muscular and of very good weight with a straight back rounded chest slender legs and neat oval paws. Good shape and length to his tail that balances his body. Gently rounded top to his head with good width between his medium ears that are of good shape and set well apart with slight forward tilt, the outer edges following the outline of his face. His wedge is short and wide and narrows to a blunt muzzle with a level bite. Large lustrous yellow chartreuse of the desired shape with the top line slanting towards his nose and a fuller more rounded lower line and are set well apart. His profile shows a rounded brow with distinct break to his short straight nose and firm level chin. His coat is short glossy close fitting and has a cool bluish fawn mantle over a silvery ground. He has an M on his forehead with pale spectacles and dark mascara around his eyes, half bars on his legs and a broken necklace. A promising kitten of very good type with a super temperament who ran the winner close.

Black shaded ticked tabby girl of good type with a medium lithe body feeling firm and muscular and surprisingly heavy for her size. She has a nicely rounded chest and straight back with elegant limbs and neat spoon shaped paws. Her tail is of good length and medium thickness and balances her body. Her head has a gently rounded dome with well spaced medium sized ears. Large lustrous greenish yellow that have good shape and set with the top line slanting towards the nose and a fuller more rounded bottom lid set wide apart. Well shaped ears with rounded tips and a broad base where the outer line follows the shape of the face. Her coat is a little long but lies well and shows two clear bands on ticking a warm coppery beige ground, the colour is denser along the spine line and extending up her hocks she has rings on her tail with a solid black tip. Dark mascara around her eyes with pale spectacles and an M on her forehead. A sweet girl.

Medium length tapering tail. Gently rounded top of head with good width between medium sized ears, that are slightly pricked forward and follow the outer line of her moderately proportioned wedge. Excellent profile with slight nose break and medium depth chin. Large expressive eyes a greenish blue that slant down towards the nose with a rounded lower line. Short close lying coat with a soft silky sheen of a warm lilac deepening on shade on the points. A very relaxed pretty girl .

Striking black smoke & white boy of nearly a year. He has medium slender body that is in hard muscular condition, with long slender legs and small oval paws with a long fine tail that tapered to the tip and was covered with fine wavy fur. His head sits on an elegant neck that has a medium wedge narrowing to a rounded muzzle. His profile shows a flat skull with a rounded brow that continues in an almost straight plane to his nose. He has large high set ears that have a broad base and rounded tips. His eyes are oval, medium sized and set on a slight slant. His coat short and dense with distinct ripples and gleamed with health. His colouring is super with a black moustache and white tip to his tail and he has the desirable crinkly whiskers and eyebrows. A lovely boy with a gentle temperament.

Super temperament to this black spotted Bengal, he walked out of his pen onto the trolley and stood looking at us! He has a medium body with strong proportionate legs and large rounded paws. Good length to his tail which is thick even and carried low and with a rounded tip. Typical Bengal head with a broad medium wedge with rounded contours and high cheek bones. He has an acceptable profile showing a gentle curve from forehead to bridge of nose, with a slight concave curve from to nose to tip. His muzzle is broad with a large broad nose and pronounced whisker pads, a firm level chin with a level bite. His ears are medium in size, wide at base and rounded at tips and are set with a slight forward tilt. He has almond shaped eyes that are slanted towards the base of his ears. Beautiful short dense coat that is soft and luxurious. The ground colour is a golden rufus with black markings. Attractive facial markings with a very pale muzzle, ‘M’ on forehead, pencil lines on cheeks, chin strap and vertical streaks over head. Broken lines and spots on legs, rings on tail and spots on tummy. An absolute poppet!

Handsome silver Egyptian Mau, he has a medium long muscular body with elegant proportionate limbs and small round dainty paws. His head has medium length slightly rounded wedge flowing into a rounded muzzle. His ears are large and slightly pointed, set on a wide base and held slightly forward and alert. He has large almond shaped eyes set straight with a slight upward curve on the lower lid. Medium close lying coat which shows a healthy sheen. He has an M on his forehead with lines which extend down between his ears and down his neck with elongated spots along the spine line. Attractive pencilling running from his eyes towards the base of his ears. He shows distinct charcoal to black spots on his body and tummy, with barring on his legs and rings to his tail. A friendly lad shown in excellent condition

In super condition for his 9 years this fawn Abyssinian has a medium length body which is firm and muscular with slender legs and neat oval paws. He has a well shaped tail that is thick at the base and tapers and is just a fraction short to balance the body. Gently rounded top of head with good width between large well set ears with that are cupped and have small tufts. He has a moderate wedge that tapers to a gently rounded muzzle. In profile he has a slight nosebreak with a straight line from his nose to chin. His eyes are expressive of good colour and almond shaped with an oriental look. In excellent condition his coat is short, fine and close lying showing four bands of deep fawn ticking on a warm fawn ground. He has attractive pale spectacles with eyeliner and lines running from his eyes to the top of his head. He has a solid line running from his head along the spine line and a solid tip to his tail. A very sweet cat shown in tip top condition.

He has a rounded brow with a well defined nosebreak, straight nose and level chin. His coat is short close lying and satin like in texture. It is a pale cream with attractive powdering. A friendly boy who showed himself well.

Nice type to this lad who had a weighty well muscled body with a rounded chest and straight back, with sturdy legs and neat oval paws. His tail is of good length and shape, balances to his shoulder and has a paintbrush tip. Gently rounded top of head with plenty of width between his large ears that have a broad base and rounded tips. They are correctly set with the outer line following his wedge with a slight forward tilt. He has a short broad wedge, blunt muzzle and a level bite. His profile shows good depth to his head with a slightly rounded brow and distinct nose break that just slopes away slightly. His chin is level and of a good depth. Large lustrous rich yellow chartreuse eyes have the desired shape giving the typical Burmese expression. His coat is a cool seal brown looking very dark today, sleek and close lying but just has a smattering of white hairs around his shoulders. A happy lad with a deep purr who just wanted to lay on my table and have tummy rubbed!
